Adventure Tykes

The beginning of the year is the time we start planning our family adventures for the year. We sit down, look at the yearly calendar as a family, Bedge schedules time off work and the fun planning begins.

So far these are the adventures we have planned:

~ Camping and hiking in Yosemite National Park

~ Camping, hiking and a backpacking trip in Mt. Rainier National Park

~ J-Man’s taking a trip with me so I can run Ragnar – Chicago. Woo hoo!

~ Many many weekend camping and hiking trips

And maybe this…

I came across Amtrak to Parks the other day thanks to the Crazy Widow and I’m really wanting to plan a trip with Amtrak.

How cool would it be too take the train from Seattle to Glacier National Park

or 

Albuquerque, NM to Grand Canyon National Park

or

New York to Montreal, Canada

or

Vancouver, Canada, to Portland, OR

or

New York to Everglades National Park in Florida                                                        This is not an amtrak train
